
- 10 Finely chopped red chilli or dried chilli flakes
- 6 Cloves Garlic
- 100ml white vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Maizina/corn starch
- 2 or 3 pinches salt – depends on taste
- 400ml water
- 200g sugar
Combine in blender the chillies, garlic, vinegar, salt, water. Bend until smooth.
Transfer mixture to a pan or pot on the stove and simmer – as it starts to boil add sugar. When Sugar is dissolved add the maizina / corn starch. Keep stirring to thicken and avoid lumps.
Bottle while mixture is still hot.
